Maths Reflection

I like maths because we learn about stuff that we have not learned before and also I like when we go on to Maths Whizz because I learn all kinds of stuff like place value and measurement.
I am in Pondering pentagons. This week we are learning to use different strategies to answer word problems. I like to go onto Xtra Maths because it gives you addition questions that are challenging for you also it helps you improve in maths.
In Addition and Subtraction I am on Stage 5.

Fractions - week5

In Fractions I already know what is a numerator and a denominator.
What I like about Fractions is when we go on to the matt and our teacher draws pizza and pie teaches us I just find it more easier.
A fraction is two number that are called numerator and the denominator and the numerator always has to be smaller then the denominator.

Maths Reflection week 2

Learning Intention - Pentagons I learnt what are factions like the numerator and the denominator and ordering the factions.

Me and my group were learning that the denominator shows how much pieces you have cut the pizza. The numerator shows how much pieces you have eaten from the pizza.

Now I understand what a numerator is and what a denominator.

Maths Reflection wk1-T3

My learning Intention for this week was understanding sequencing  of numbers.

We have been learning how to find out the rule like adding 5 and counting on in fives. For example: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, _____ , 40, 45, 50 what is the number rule. So the missing number is 35.
