What is a Metaphor?

Holes

This story is about a boy called Stanley, he only live with his mother and father. He got into trouble and he had to go to the police station and the police told him he had to go to Camp Green Lake.

What he had to do at Camp Green Lake was that he had to dig holes that were two metres deep also two metres wide.

I really liked the story because its was really interesting and cool.

Snake

Did you know yellow bellied snakes are very scary because they are one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. It does not eat people it eats fish, eggs and small fish also it eats eels. It can breath underwater for up to three hours.

The body is normal but the tale looks like it got knocked down flat by a hammer. Usually you can not find snakes in New Zealand water because they like to swim in warmer water.

If you find a snake you will have to call the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and tell them what you have found.

Soul Friend

My soul friends name is Alan. He likes maths because he likes to solve problems. My soul friends favourite colour is yellow because it is a very light colour just like the sun, also my soul friend favourite thing to do at school is that he likes to see his friends. He likes to go out to physical Education with his classroom and likes to learn how to play games outside. By the way soul friend is a friend that will promise to be there for you when you are always down. Also a soul friend is supporting one another also encouraging one another when they are in a competition. But the most important thing is guiding one another.  

Triathlon.

A Triathlon is a competition where three sports are mixed together which is swimming, running and biking. It is a sport where little people and big people can participate. The rules are to not cheat while you are doing competition and that you are not allowed to ride your bicycle inside the transition. Transition means a place where you park your bike also you have to wear safety gear while you are doing a Triathlon. Also you have to train very hard to be fit to do this sport because it is a very a long distance.

A speech for Sina

This story is about a girl called Sina that has to write a speech for school. She was very worried it so her Dad offered to help her because he had to write a speech too. the mother cooked chop suey and the family ate it together. It was so delicious Sina decided to write her speech about “mum’s chop suey.
